planning for music video: Pitch - explain where your ideas for your video have come from?

Explain where your ideas for your video have come from ?

over the past couple of weeks i have looked over a range of videos in order to have a general scope of what i want my music video to look like. so far only a few music videos have stood out to me for ideas and concepts.

1) sam smith- stay with me

so for most of the chorus scenes i would like for there to be a close up image of the artists lip synching. here we can identify clearly who the artist is and also understanding the meaning behind the narrative from the artists point of view.
2) Ed sheeran - the A team

I specifically like this shot of the 'homeless lady' appearing at 'angel station. this is because i would like to highlight some tourists sites and main features of London in my music video. in order to create a 'sense of story telling' for the audience.
3) Adele- someone like you

I  feel that this shot is good because it really highlights the setting and location but also the black and white edit on the music video demonstrate the mood of the song which is sad. however in my music video i aim to use a similar location only the artist will not be lip synching instead he will be acting out a particular scene-( with him and his girlfriend laughing together)
4) powerless- rudimental ft jackie hill

again i really love the location in this shot even though is not London. it creates a visual image of a famous city that people do not usually look at in a less exciting way as the song talks about being 'powerless'. this is a contrast with the location because it new york is a place where especially famous people have power however the twins shown in this music video are portrayed to be powerless in their situation.
